Be Like Samuel

Morning Thought: God’s people are called to be a prophetic people—a people who hear, live and speak God’s Word. We have been chosen to be like Samuel. Even though he was young and surrounded by sin, he kept a pure and humble heart. Because of his innocence, God spoke to Samuel and made him a mighty prophet to his nation. Where are today’s Samuels? “Now the boy Samuel was ministering to the LORD before Eli. And word from the LORD was rare [like a precious stone] in those days, visions were infrequent” (‭‭1 Samuel‬ ‭3:1,‬ ‭NASB‬‬).

I was born and raised in Long Island, New York. In 1999 I migrated to Australia, married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted a church and Bible School. We are now the proud parents of four children ranging in age from five to eighteen. We are still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
