The Covenant Keeping God

Morning Thought: While away we stayed at a place called the Honeycomb House. In the backyard there was a beautiful view of a mountain range with seven peaks. Suddenly, the kids were jumping up and down. They were shouting, “Come look at this!” In our backyard was a beautiful and fully arched rainbow. It was so close it felt like we could touch it. I’ve never experienced a rainbow this close and it appeared a few times while staying there. I asked God, “Is there a message in this?” He said, “I want my people to know I am a covenant keeping God.” God is faithful and will keep his Word to you. Knowing his covenant nature will calm your fears and worries. Listen to Deuteronomy 7:9: “Know therefore that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments” (‭NASB‬‬). And even when you are faithless, he is still faithful (2 Tim. 2:13).

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I migrated to Australia in 1999. That’s when I married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted our church and Bible School. We’re now the proud parents of four children, ranging in age from eight to twenty-one. We’re still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (https://www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (https://www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
