Morning Thought: We choose the path of least resistance. When we know there’s congestion on a road, we take another route. God is different. He chooses the path of most resistance. He took the way of the Red Sea and the wilderness. He chose Canaan Land with all it’s ungodliness and opposition. And most of all, he decided on the way of the cross, which meant the ultimate rejection and resistance. And since Jesus took this path, he cleared a way for us to follow. God chooses the path of most resistance because he is a warrior, able to triumph over every enemy. Today, follow in his triumphal procession. “But thanks be to God, who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place” (2 Cor. 2:14, NASB).
