When You Seem Surrounded

Morning Thought: Sometimes we become more aware of the devil than of God. In these times we need to remember that our Father is Almighty. He has placed us in the greatest stronghold, Jesus Christ. There is no way the enemy can penetrate the stronghold of God’s Son. Also, keep in mind that there are two-thirds more angels than demons. When Elisha’s assistant thought they were surrounded by their enemy, God showed them the heavenly realms. Actually, there were more with them than with their enemy. Today, may the Father open our eyes to this reality. “So he answered, ‘Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.’ Then Elisha prayed and said, ‘O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.’ And the LORD opened the servant’s eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha” (‭‭2 Kings‬ ‭6:16-17‬, ‭NASB‬‬).
