God Pauses

Morning Thought: Remember that God pauses. God’s Word is like a meal and it’s meant to be eaten. When God speaks to you he pauses so that you can digest his Word. If he’s silent, it could be that he is pausing, waiting for you to properly take in all he has said. Your Father, the Master Chef, is not going to throw one plate after another at you. He’s the expert in timing and rhythm. So learn to chew, eat slowly and digest what he serves you. And lastly, remember to enjoy. Jeremiah said, “When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, Lord God Almighty” (‭‭Jer. ‭15:16‬, ‭NIV‬‬).

I was born and raised in Long Island, New York. In 1999 I migrated to Australia, married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted a church and Bible School. We are now the proud parents of four children ranging in age from five to eighteen. We are still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
