What is Honour?

Morning Thought: Honour is more than what you think. To honour is to give weight, value and importance. If you honour someone you will give them your time, attention, energy, and even possessions. The Scripture calls us to honour the Lord. This means living in such a way that God is most important, not yourself. It also means valuing what the Father values. How you use your time, energy, words, thoughts and resources will reveal what you really honour. “…the LORD spoke, saying, ‘By those who come near Me I will be treated as holy, And before all the people I will be honored.’ So Aaron, therefore, kept silent” ‭(‭Leviticus‬ ‭10:3,‬ ‭NASB‬‬).

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I migrated to Australia in 1999. That’s when I married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted our church and Bible School. We’re now the proud parents of four children, ranging in age from nine to twenty-two. We’re still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (https://www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (https://www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
