Stage by Stage

Morning Thought: “Then all the congregation of the sons of Israel journeyed by stages from the wilderness of Sin, according to the mouth of the LORD…” (‭‭Exodus‬ ‭17:1‬, ‭NASB‬‬). One of the great lessons you can learn is that God takes you through stages. Value these stages. Each one will have its own challenges. For example, the rest of the verse above says that Israel had no water. But there was a reason. The Lord wanted to teach them he was their source of life. Even the hard places will yield rivers of life if you listen to the words of the Lord’s mouth. In each stage there is a unique revelation of God himself. Learning through these stages will make your life richer than someone winning a billion dollars through lotto. Stage by stage there’s challenges, but also untold riches.
