The Lord Upholds

Morning Thought: The Lord upholds us. The last week I haven’t been able to write many morning thoughts. I’ve been having one sleepless night after another. Phone calls at 2am, kids frightened, body clock out cycle and stuff like that. It’s at times like these that we need to remember that God upholds us. If he can hang the earth on nothing and sustain two trillion galaxies (the latest astronomical measurement) surely he can keep you. Father, please give us each a sense that we are being upheld by your mighty right hand. Here’s God’s promise: “So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (‭‭Isaiah‬ ‭41:10‬, ‭NIV‬‬).
