Focus

Morning Thought: Focus. Scientists are saying that modern technology is rewiring our brains. It’s causing us to lose our ability to focus and be present to those around us. Yet, how can you pray without focus? How can you listen without focus? How can you bless others without focus? It’s not wrong to use technology, but don’t let it cause you to live a distracted life. Let God renew your mind so that you can focus on Jesus and his plan. “Let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God” (‭Hebrews‬ ‭12:1-2‬, NIV‬‬).
