The Natural or the Supernatural

Morning Thought: There was one thing that stood out to me when I was reflecting on Ingrid’s message this morning. God still has a plan for you no matter the intensity of the pain you’re going through. Both Orpah and Ruth lost everything. However, Ruth chose the supernatural path, while Orpah chose the natural path. We never again hear about Orpah, but we definitely hear more about Ruth. Why? Ruth clung to the Lord. In your pain there are two paths you can choose: 1) God’s way, or 2) your way. It’s God’s way—clinging to his call—that will make all the difference. “At this they wept aloud again. Then Orpah kissed her mother-in-law goodbye, but Ruth clung to her” ‭(Ruth‬ ‭1:14‬, ‭NIV‬‬).

I was born and raised in New York. In 1999 I migrated to Australia, married my beautiful wife, Anna, and became a pastor. We are now the proud parents of four children ranging in age from five to eighteen. We are still pastoring a beautiful church in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia ( and we lead an awesome Bible School ( I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
