Morning Thought: Think good thoughts, thoughts that disseminate the fragrance of Christ. When I was young, I knew a family that had lots of cats and dogs. Wherever they went they smelled like their pets. What you dwell on will affect your aroma. Think beautiful thoughts about God, others and yourself. It’s easy to think God doesn’t care and others are horrible. Even easier is to think negative thoughts about yourself. Self-negativity is not humility, it’s poison. God cares. He sent his Son to save you. He delights in you. That should be the foundation of your thoughts. Paul said, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things” (Philippians 4:8, NIV).
