The Gospel in the Sky

Morning Thought: This morning I arose early to watch the first sunrise of 2018. I was reminded that everyday is a new beginning, a reflection of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I saw that every dawn also prophesies of that great day, the final resurrection. The sun and clouds continually preach the Gospel to us. Moreover, our bodies cry out for the truth of the Good News. They groan, longing for a new body, coveting the rest of eternity. This year see everyday as a gift, a new day to experience Christ’s resurrection again. “For indeed in this house we groan, longing to be clothed with our dwelling from heaven” (‭‭2 Corinthians‬ ‭5:2‬ ‭NASB‬‬).
