Your Security Detail

Morning Thought: You have your own security detail, a protective team assigned to your well-being. You may overlook these secret agents because they operate in stealth. Yet, they are charged to protect God’s VIPs. You are one of these very important persons if you put your trust in the Lord, making him your refuge. Who are these security agents? They are God’s angels, sent by God to watch over you. Not only do they protect you, but they go on the offensive as you pray and spread the good news. So there’s no need to take matters into your own hands, let God fight your battles. Listen: “For He will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. They will bear you up in their hands that you do not strike your foot against a stone. You will tread upon the lion and cobra, the young lion and the serpent you will trample down” (Ps 91:11-13, NASB).
