New Hope

Morning Thought: Today I read about the Lord overthrowing Sodom and its surrounding cities. I was intrigued that on the same visit, just before God’s judgment, he promised Isaac—a message of hope, laughter and joy. God was (and still is) many steps ahead of evil. He first plants the new seed of life before removing the fruitless tree of death. It’s through Isaac that Jesus came. Yes, men are sinners, but God’s mercy triumphs over his judgment. Run to his mercy and you’ll be filled with his joy. “Is anything too difficult for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, at this time next year, and Sarah will have a son” (Genesis‬ ‭18:14, NASB‬‬).

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I migrated to Australia in 1999. That’s when I married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted our church and Bible School. We’re now the proud parents of four children, ranging in age from nine to twenty-two. We’re still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (https://www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (https://www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
