Dig Down Deep

Morning Thought: Dig down deep so that you last for decades, not just days. You begin digging by coming to Jesus. You go deeper by listening to him. Finally, you hit the bedrock when you obey him. Your life is built on Jesus not when you say, ‘Lord, Lord,’ but when you let him really be your Lord. “Everyone who comes to Me and hears My words and acts on them, I will show you whom he is like: he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid a foundation on the rock; and when a flood occurred, the torrent burst against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭6:47-48,‬ ‭NASB‬‬).
