Morning Thought: Two people in prayer have more power than two hundred in parliament. Yesterday, I had the blessing of praying with another pastor at our centre in the city. While praying I could sense the presence of God in a powerful way and felt the angels of God ascending and descending on us. I was reminded that prayer is where the real power is to change lives and nations. It’s through prayer that we exercise Christ’s authority as his ambassadors. Jesus said, “Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” (Matthew 18:19-20, NIV).
