Climb the Tree

Morning Thought: Remember Zacchaeus. Because of his height, he climbed a tree to see Jesus. It’s hard for us to see Jesus through the crowd. People and their opinions blind our view. Today, break away from the crowd and climb the tree of the cross. Then you will have the right perspective. From the cross you can truly see Jesus. Have you climbed that tree yet? “He [Zacchaeus] wanted to see who Jesus was, but because he was short he could not see over the crowd. So he ran ahead and climbed a sycamore-fig tree to see him, since Jesus was coming that way” ‭‭(Luke‬ ‭19:3-4‬, ‭NIV‬‬).

I was born and raised in Long Island, New York. In 1999 I migrated to Australia, married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted a church and Bible School. We are now the proud parents of four children ranging in age from five to eighteen. We are still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
