Into the Deep

Morning Thought: There’s something about leaving the land behind, about saying ‘good-bye’ to the ground you trust. When you leave the habour’s safety, the real voyage begins. Jesus told Peter, “Launch out into the deep waters and let down your nets” (Luke 5:4). Are you willing to go deep with God? Are you ready to sail beyond the safety of the shallows? It’s in the deep that you catch a multitude of souls for the Kingdom. “When they had done so, they caught such a large number of fish that their nets began to break” (‭‭Luke‬ ‭5:6‬, ‭NIV‬‬).
