The Rock

Morning Thought: Have you ever been caught in the tumble of ocean waves? One time I had to be rescued because the drift took me dangerously deep. In life, circumstances will beat on you like waves; sometimes those breakers are small and other times monstrous. However, your Father in heaven is your Rock. He’s a rock that towers in the middle of the ocean’s unpredictability. When you stand on him, the waves won’t toss you back and forth. Instead, you’ll be steadfast and immovable. Moses sang: “He is the Rock; his deeds are perfect. Everything he does is just and fair. He is a faithful God who does no wrong; how just and upright he is!” ‭(‭Deuteronomy‬ ‭32:4,‬ ‭NLT‬‬).
