How to Flourish

Morning Thought: Soak in God’s presence like an olive tree drinks in the nutrients of good soil. This is one of the ways you wait on God. Let your roots be planted in the soil of the Lord’s lovingkindness. As you trust him, your roots draw in the nutrients of his goodness, causing you to flourish. Real life comes from God’s presence, making your soul healthy and fruitful. “But as for me, I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in the lovingkindness of God forever and ever. I will give You thanks forever, because You have done it, And I will wait on Your name, for it is good, in the presence of Your godly ones” (‭‭Psalms‬ ‭52:8-9‬, NASB‬‬).

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I migrated to Australia in 1999. That’s when I married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted our church and Bible School. We’re now the proud parents of four children, ranging in age from nine to twenty-two. We’re still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (https://www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (https://www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
