Morning Thought: Peace means much more than what you first think. The root of the Hebrew word ‘shalom’ (peace) means completion, fulfillment and wholeness. The peace of God is like a builder that works relentlessly until every gap in your walls is restored and every gate is repaired. He wants rest and fruitfulness in your walls and the enemy unable to penetrate. Let the Lord’s shalom do its work in you today. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper [shalom] you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future” ‭‭(Jeremiah‬ ‭29:11,‬ ‭NIV‬‬).

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I migrated to Australia in 1999. That’s when I married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted our church and Bible School. We’re now the proud parents of four children, ranging in age from eight to twenty-one. We’re still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia ( We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School ( I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
