The Real Treasure

Morning Thought: The greatest treasures are not our homes, jobs and wealth. The real treasure is God’s glory, and one another, who carry the Lord’s glory. At times Paul was greatly distressed by God’s people. Their actions and attitudes grieved him to his core. And yet, he always begins his letters thanking God for them. He saw passed the earthen vessel and beheld the glory within. Begin each day thanking God for your family in Christ. Then you will know the joy of these beautiful treasures the Lord has given you. “I thank my God in all my remembrance of you, always offering prayer with joy in my every prayer for you all, in view of your participation in the gospel from the first day until now” (Philippians‬ ‭1:3-5‬ ‭NASB‬‬).
