Morning Thought: Did you know that Paul was bitterly opposed by many Christians in Corinth? Though these Corinthians believed in Jesus, their values were based on the temporary style and fads of their culture. They liked what looked big, showy, successful and appealing. Paul lived with eternity in mind and the Eternal One in focus. When you focus the lense of your faith on Jesus, everything of this world blurs in comparison. Today, choose the eternal rather than the things that fade away. “So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal” (2 Corinthians 4:18, NIV).
