God’s Release Valve

Morning Thought: Prayer is God’s pressure release valve. Hot water systems have these valves to keep from blowing up and damaging the environment around them. When the pressure is building up, give your requests to God so that you don’t explode. Prayer cools you down, guarding you with peace. “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (‭‭Phil. 4:6-7‬, ‭NASB‬‬).
