Leave Her Alone

Morning Thought: “Leave her alone,” said Jesus (Mark 14:6). People often attack the wrong person. We are quick to condemn the innocent and let the guilty go free. Here is a woman doing a beautiful thing: sacrificially anointing Jesus by breaking open her alabaster jar. The crowd thinks the money could have been spent much better. However, Jesus steps in, bringing the Lord’s perspective. As the Lord came to her defence, may he come to your defence today. Your worship is beautiful to the King. “Why are you bothering her? She has done a beautiful thing to me” (Mark‬ ‭14:,6‬ ‭NIV‬‬).
