Stressing About the Future?

Morning Thought: Obey God today and you won’t need to stress about the future. Monoah, Samson’s father, asks, “What shall be the boy’s mode of life and his vocation?” (Judges‬ ‭13:12, NASB‬). We ask similar questions, “Lord, what’s my calling? What do you have in store for my children?” The Lord’s messenger responds, telling him to get his eyes off the future and listen to what God is saying now. Do what God says today and you will be on the path to his glorious future. “The angel of the Lord answered, ‘Your wife must do all that I have told her…She must do everything I have commanded her.” (‭‭Judges‬ ‭13:13-14‬, NIV‬‬).
