Morning Thought: The knowledge of God humbles you, but the knowledge of things puffs you up. When you learn about God in your own strength you become like a balloon, filled with air and ready to pop with the smallest pin of pressure. On the other hand, when God reveals himself to you, you bow in reverent worship. His knowledge doesn’t fill you with hot air, but fills you with love. Always remember, love is far more important than faith, hope and even knowing stuff. “We know that ‘We all possess knowledge.’ But knowledge puffs up while love builds up. Those who think they know something do not yet know as they ought to know. But whoever loves God is known by God” (1 Cor. 8:1-3, NIV).
