Sweet Surrender

Morning Thought: Surrendering to God disseminates the sweet fragrance of Christ from your life. In Exodus, Moses completely surrenders to God. By the end of the book, we constantly read that he did “just as the Lord had commanded” (Exo. 39-40). No more fighting, no more questions, just listening and doing. Consequently, his tabernacle was filled with God’s glory. God will saturate your life with his glory when you surrender. “And so Moses finished the work. Then the cloud covered the tent of meeting, and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle” (Exo.‬ ‭40:33b-34,‬ ‭NIV).‬‬

I was born and raised in Long Island, New York. In 1999 I migrated to Australia, married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted a church and Bible School. We are now the proud parents of four children ranging in age from five to eighteen. We are still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
