The Testimony & the Test

Morning Thought: After the testimony often comes the test. The test weighs the authenticity of the testimony so that its beyond a doubt God’s work. The test reveals what is solid, sure and golden. Remember, after Jesus’ glorious baptism, he was sent into the wilderness. But the Father was with him in both places and Jesus triumphed through the test. “And a voice came out of the heavens: ‘You are My beloved Son, in You I am well-pleased.’ Immediately the Spirit impelled Him to go out into the wilderness” (Mark‬ ‭1:11-12‬, NASB‬‬).
