Rise on the Wind

by ggerhauser

Morning Thought: In this world the wind is often a threat, but it’s fuel to the eagle. While travelling I watched eagles in flight. They spend long periods gliding and soaring on the wind without flapping their wings. They rest on the wind. The Holy Spirit and afflictions are like wind. They are not a threat to you who are in Jesus, instead they are your fuel. “There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his. Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest…” (‭Heb. ‭4‬:‭9-11‬ NIV).
