Morning Thought: Self-confidence is limited and very deceptive. It will help you to start walking, even standing tall. But then, you’ll end up flat on your face, wondering why your teeth are cracked and your nose is broken. God-confidence is a whole other thing. Putting your trust in God will get you up and sustain you through the varying terrains of life. Finding your strength in God will never let you down. “Don’t be so naive and self-confident. You’re not exempt. You could fall flat on your face as easily as anyone else. Forget about self-confidence; it’s useless. Cultivate God-confidence” (1 Cor. 10:11-12 MSG).
