Unity in Diversity

Morning Thought: The apple tree shouts at the orange tree, “Why aren’t you producing apples like me?” The orange tree yells back, “Your fruit isn’t packed with vitamin c like mine!” God designed unity in diversity. But, our fundamental differences in form and function cause us to fight. Value your uniqueness and the uniqueness of others. And remember, in Jesus the Father unites the diverse for his glory. “I have a serious concern to bring up with you, my friends, using the authority of Jesus, our Master. I’ll put it as urgently as I can: You must get along with each other. You must learn to be considerate of one another, cultivating a life in common” (‭1 Corinthians‬ ‭1‬:‭10‬ MSG).

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I migrated to Australia in 1999. That’s when I married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted our church and Bible School. We’re now the proud parents of four children, ranging in age from nine to twenty-two. We’re still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (https://www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (https://www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
