Keep the Fire Burning

Morning Thought: You are the Father’s home and your life is like the temple’s lampstand. The Menorah (lampstand) had seven branches, reminding us that our light should not just shine for one day, but everyday of the week. The greatest evangelism does not happen on Sunday or Christmas, but each day in your home, workplace and neighborhood. Like the priests of old, keep the fire burning, tending your lampstand to shine in the world’s darkness. “Tend the lamps before the Lord from evening till morning, continually…The lamps on the pure gold lampstand before the Lord must be tended continually.” (‭Leviticus‬ ‭24‬:‭3-4‬ NIV)
