A Scary Thought?

Morning Thought: Fingers form from the dark. A ghostly hand. No body. Its sight sends shockwaves through the king. Legs limp, knees knock. It writes! But what does it say? “King, you haven’t humbled yourself to the King of kings, so I will humble you. Your time is up.” Yes, God can be scary. But he’s not scary to the humble. Today, don’t fear the devil with his gory costumes. Fear God! “How abundant are the good things that you have stored up for those who fear you, that you bestow in the sight of all, on those who take refuge in you” (Ps 31:19).
