Prayer is a Conversation

Morning Thought: Here’s a beautiful morning prayer that I found in Isaiah: “Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you. Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress” (‭Isaiah‬ ‭33‬:‭2‬ NIV). After Isaiah’s prayer the Holy Spirit responds, showing us that prayer is a two way conversation with our Heavenly Father: “The Lord is exalted, for he dwells on high; he will fill Zion with his justice and righteousness. He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure” (Isaiah‬ ‭33‬:‭2, 5-6‬ NIV).

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I migrated to Australia in 1999. That’s when I married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted our church and Bible School. We’re now the proud parents of four children, ranging in age from nine to twenty-two. We’re still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (https://www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (https://www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).

    1. Thanks Desiray! I appreciate the comment. The Lord has so much goodness in store for us and the key is the fear of the Lord. Blessings and peace to you!
