Tears

Morning Thought: Through tears we become the salt of the earth, washing away her wounds and receiving the Father’s mercy. Tears are as much a part of the Christian’s life as music is to a musician. If we are genuine we can’t help but weep at and with the world. The well of our lives has run dry if it is not often overflowing with tears. Why are we so afraid to cry? Tears make us human…and like God. “Jesus wept” (John 11:35; cf. Luke 19:41).
