Happiness

Morning Thought: A life of faith in God and his Word is a happy, blessed life. Did you know that many Bible translators think that the word ‘blessed’ (in many cases) would be better translated as ‘happy’? For example take these words from Jesus: “Happy are the pure in heart for they shall see God” (Matt. 5:8). Don’t allow Satan to make you think that living God’s way is boring and depressing – nothing could be further from the truth! “Happy is the one whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Happy is the one whose sin The Lord does not count against them and in whose spirit is no deceit” (Psa. 32:1-2).
