The Positive and the Negative

Morning Thought: It takes a positive and negative charge for power to flow. We find this kind of current in Proverbs. It doesn’t just tell us the positive side of righteousness, it also instructs us on the negative aspect of disobedience. Case in point: “What the wicked dread will overtake them; what the righteous desire will be granted” (Prov. 10:24). It’s good to remind ourselves of both the positive and negative if we are going to walk in power.
