How to Receive a Message From God

Morning Thought: How do you receive a message from God? It all begins by seeking his face. In other words, you don’t merely seek him for the message, you seek the Lord to know him. Seeking his face is seeking God for who he is. It’s a desire to discover him for himself – to gaze at his beauty and to talk with him face to face rather than from a distance. Every message from God should flow out of intimacy. “When You said, ‘Seek My face,’ my heart said to You, ‘Your face, O Lord, I shall seek'” (Ps. 27:8, NASB).
