Regain Your Strength

Morning Thought: Since the beginning, the Lord chose to speak in the evening and morning, times of quietness and rest. He caught Moses’ attention in the wilderness, a place of solitude and silence. It’s in these times and places the Lord manifests his glory. Value rest and silence. The world clamours for your eyes and ears. But without daily solitude with your Saviour you become shallow. Yet, when you’re alone with him, you regain your strength. “This is what the Sovereign LORD, the Holy One of Israel, says: ‘In repentance and rest is your salvation, in quietness and trust is your strength…’” ‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭30:15‬, NIV‬‬).
