One Fear Rules Them All

Morning Thought: There is one fear that rules over every other fear. This fear causes the others to cringe before it. What is this fear? It’s the fear of the Lord. Psalm 112 describes how the fear of God sets us free from all other fears. Today, fear him who conquered every enemy of your soul, even death. “Blessed are those who fear the Lord, who find great delight in his commands…They will have no fear of bad news; their hearts are steadfast, trusting in the Lord. Their hearts are secure, they will have no fear; in the end they will look in triumph on their foes” (‭Psalm‬ ‭112‬:‭1, 7-8‬ NIV).
