The Noisy Crowd

Morning Thought: “After the crowd had been put outside…” (Matt. 9:25). Often the miraculous does not happen until we have told the noisy crowd to leave. The crowd tells you one thing, but Jesus tells you another. The Lord says there is hope, but the crowd just laughs. Put out the voices of the crowd and let Jesus in. With Jesus, you will experience resurrection life. “When Jesus entered the synagogue leader’s house and saw the noisy crowd and people playing pipes, he said, ‘Go away. The girl is not dead but asleep.” But they laughed at him. After the crowd had been put outside, he went in and took the girl by the hand, and she got up. News of this spread through all that region” (Matt. 9:23-26).

Born and raised on Long Island, New York, I migrated to Australia in 1999. That’s when I married my beautiful wife, Anna, and we planted our church and Bible School. We’re now the proud parents of four children, ranging in age from nine to twenty-two. We’re still pastoring the same beautiful church, Church on the Park, in the the heart of Brisbane, Australia (https://www.brisbanefire.com). We also continue to teach our awesome students at Holy Fire Ministry Training School (https://www.holyfireschool.com). I love to write and encourage God's people. And something that many people don't know, I'm a DJ as well (aka DJ SOL Vibes).
