Morning Thought: “Show me, Lord, my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is” (Ps 39:4). Psalm 39 sets out successive strains of imagery all emphasising one main point: life is short. I’m reminded of Leonard Ravenhill’s words, “Are the things you’re living for worth Christ dying for?” Today, let’s live for eternity. And let’s practice the Proverb: “Do not say to your neighbor, ‘Come back tomorrow and I’ll give it to you’— when you already have it with you.” (Prov. 3:28)
Good message.
