What the Future Holds

Morning Thought: The Bible ends with the greatest revelation given to man and a glimpse of what the future holds. It shows a glorious heaven with a tranquil glassy sea, and a gut-wrenching hell with a tormenting fiery lake. God appeals to everyone to come to him for eternal life, but not all will. Some, because of their stubbornness and sin, will never enter into God’s eternal Kingdom of peace and righteous. Did you know you can be assured of eternal life? John 3 shows the way and 1 John confirms those who have eternal life. Religion says, “you can’t be sure,” but the Bible makes it clear that you can be certain of your eternal destiny. “I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life.” (1 John 5:13 NIV)
